This position is local to Calgary and surrounding areas. The shift is Monday to Thursday, 10-hour days. The Site Manager reports to the District Manager for the region. They have approximately 4-10 direct reports.

What would you be doing?
- Ensure all maintenance and capital projects are planned, executed and closed out with safety at the forefront.
- Ensure the project team follows the quality assurance and quality control guidelines.
- Direct and manage Maintenance development from beginning to end. Define scope, goals and deliverables that support.
- Business goals in collaboration with client management and stakeholders.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve maintenance goals. Participate and submit an operational budget and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary. Monitor maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with all FLINT and stakeholder safety and policy and procedure guidelines.
- Utilize industry best practices to ensure safe and efficient execution of scopes with a high quality of work.
- Excellent client management skills and the ability to prioritize and satisfy numerous requests from client stakeholders.

We are seeking a Subcontract Specialist to join our collaborative team and play a crucial role in managing our contractual agreements and vendor relationships. This position will support subcontract activities associated with current and upcoming projects, proposals and ongoing operational requirements. In addition, this role will require a more in-depth analysis of other types of contracts as required within our business.
This permanent position is based out of our Calgary or Sherwood Park office and will work on a hybrid schedule.
What would you be doing?
- Own the subcontractor relationship from initiation through closure.
- Develop subcontract specifications and ensure compliance.
- Initiate, evaluate, and negotiate subcontract terms.
- Manage Subcontractor Requests (RFX), proposals, and pricing.
- Serve as the main liaison with subcontractors' contracting department.
- Collaborate with Operations Management to align Scope of Work.
- Work closely with key suppliers/subcontractors to support business needs.
- Create and manage requests for proposals, including relevant provisions.
- Ensure efficient post-award subcontract administration.
- Analyze and evaluate contract proposals, pricing, and compliance.
- Monitor supplier compliance with laws, company policies, and HSE requirements.
- Maintain contract data in accordance with company policies.
