This position will take a proactive approach to work by identifying and improving processes and trends, prioritizing health & safety.  The Technical Advisor will always perform work and ensure adherence to FLINT's core values and exemplary ethical standards.   What would you be doing? - Provide technical expertise on sites in collaboration with Sr. Technical Advisors. - Provide Technical Expertise of environmental science, engineering principles, and regulatory requirements to assess environmental issues and develop effective solutions. - Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs, providing strategic recommendations, and fostering long-term relationships. - Conduct comprehensive environmental risk assessments, including site investigations, data analysis, and interpretation, to identify potential hazards and mitigation strategies. - Stay current with relevant environmental regulations and guidelines, advising clients on compliance requirements and assisting in permitting processes. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including scientists, engineers, and regulatory specialists, to develop integrated solutions that address complex environmental challenges. - Identify opportunities for process optimization, innovation, and the adoption of emerging technologies to enhance the quality and efficiency of our environmental consulting services. - Administrative duties, including claims, invoices, and all other paperwork, are done within timelines. - Other projects and assignments as required. Does this sound like you? - University Degree in environmental science/engineering or related discipline. - Must possess or be eligible for professional designation (P.Ag, RP.Bio, P.Eng, P.Geo., etc.) - Minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental consulting, focusing on environmental assessments, remediation, and compliance. - Proven track record of successfully managing complex environmental projects, including site investigations, risk assessments, and remediation efforts. - Strong understanding of environmental regulations in the area of expertise - In-depth working knowledge of Alberta, BC, and Saskatchewan guidelines and procedures is considered a strong asset. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and develop innovative solutions. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members. - Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in mentoring and guiding junior employees.
