We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter Apprentice for our Grande Prairie, AB,  Fabrication shop starting September 2023. This role is permanent and full-time. Join our growing team as a Finance Manager, Billing!   Reporting directly to the Director Financial Planning & Analysis, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable process and implementing strategies to optimize working capital. As a key player in our organization, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact through process improvements, cash flow management, and billing practices.   This role can be based in either Calgary or Sherwood Park.    What would you be doing?   - Manage accounts receivable: Oversee the collection of payments from customers and implement strategies to reduce the company's accounts receivable turnover time. - Implement working capital improvement initiatives: Identify opportunities to optimize working capital through process improvements, efficiency enhancements, and cash flow management strategies. - Investigate and approve billing adjustments, billing corrections and or amended billing records which may include payroll entries or Operations records (labour, equipment, material, Time Entry). - Provide coaching, guidance and support on billing practices to direct and indirect reports. - This role involves a significant amount of communication and interaction with both internal and external customers. - Review weekly and monthly accounts receivable aging reports and unbilled revenue reports. - Understand the drivers for the changes in DSO and escalate items impacting DSO. - Manage Cash application team and cash receipts application. - Communicate with operations and clients regarding billing issues and requirements. - Monitor portals for rejections, PO updates, etc. - Monitor project setup process and timelines. - Monitor drivers for off-cycle payrolls, track, and trace to reduce. - Assess resources, dispatch resources, and support peaks and valleys. - Support larger projects and turnarounds, support with project readiness.
