Join us at our client site in Peace River, AB, starting June 2024. This permanent role operates on a Monday - Thursday schedule, and candidates must possess valid WHMIS & Fall Protection safety tickets. 

What would you be doing?  

• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
• Inspect and examine equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions.
• Use hand and power tools to perform repairs, test repaired equipment for proper performance, and ensure that the work meets manufacturers' specifications and legislated regulations.
• Relocate/operate heavy equipment to move it within the shop area.
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
• Clean, lubricate and perform other preventative maintenance work.
• Equipment and facility continuous improvements.
• Interface with customers, products, and sales support. 
• Provide support concerning on-site safety requirements.
• Drafting technical reports and completing paperwork as required.
• Ensure that safety policies, quality standards, and standard operating procedures are followed.

Does this sound like you?  

• Specialize in fuel pumps and injectors, track equipment, engine overhaul, hydraulic controls, power shift transmissions, and allied equipment.
• Valid and up-to-date safety tickets: WHMIS, Fall Protection
• You thrive on collaboration and in a communal environment.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
• Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
