Based in Carseland, AB, this long-term position will commence immediately and offers a consistent work schedule from Monday to Thursday, featuring a 10-hour daily shift, until October 2024 with potential for contract extension or a chance to become a permanent member of the team! What would you be doing?  

  • Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications to decide on wiring layouts. 
  • Cut, thread, bend, assemble and install conduits and other electrical conductor enclosures and fixtures. 
  • Pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors. 
  • Position, support , and install equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, panels, fuse enclosures, fire alarms, lighting controls, and auto backup generators. 
  • Install, replace, support, and repair electrical systems and equipment. 
  • Testing circuits to ensure integrity and safety. 

Does this sound like you? 

  • Hold a valid Journeyperson or Apprentice Electrician certification.
  • Possess up-to-date CSTS 2020 and Fall Protection tickets.
  • Have high regard for personal safety, company assets, and employees. 
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle strict deadlines. 
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
