Job Description

This temporary position is scheduled on a 7 days on, 7 days off rotation, from May 2024 to July 2024 in Foster Creek, Alberta. Apply now for an opportunity to showcase your expertise in maintaining, rebuilding, and enhancing equipment!

 

What would you be doing? 

  • Conducting routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on various rotating equipment.
  • Overhauling and rebuilding rotating equipment components to OEM specifications.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues using a systematic approach.
  • Performing precision alignment of rotating equipment for accurate positioning.
  • Maintaining accurate records of equipment maintenance activities.
  • Collaborating with other maintenance professionals, engineers, and operations teams.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and actively participating in safety initiatives.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

Does this sound like you?  

  • Journeyperson Millwright certificate required.
  • Experience maintaining and rebuilding rotating equipment.
  • Proficiency in precision alignment techniques, vibration analysis, and relevant tools.
  • Required safety certifications include H2S Alive, Fall Protection, CSO, and WHMIS.
  • 2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
