This role will facilitate the crucial role in leading our brand position and marketing strategies. This position will be responsible for a breadth of marketing and communication activities from brand leadership, marketing and communication strategy development and implementation, managing the combination of client facing and recruitment objectives to develop and execute programs and assets, measurement and reporting performance of campaigns, implementation of process improvements, lead and execute integrated content strategy development.

 

This is a permanent position for our Calgary corporate office located downtown and will report to the Director of Business Development, Contracts, and Marketing.

 

A bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field from an accredited university or college is required. In addition, 3+ years’ experience required working in industrial brand management, as a brand leader or comparable experience.

 

What would you be doing?

  • Essential contributor to the development of the brand marketing strategies through opportunity identification, consumer insights, category analysis, cultural and industry trends.
  • Integrating our brands against analysis of business performance to provide recommendations on how to achieve brand and business growth.
  • Combining brand strategies with client facing (sales) and recruitment (employee) objectives to develop and execute game-changing programs and assets across client facing and recruitment initiatives.
  • Accountable to measure and drive key KPIs, socializing results and how learnings will impact the brand strategies and initiatives.
  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, collaborating with cross-functional partners across the business, including Business Development, Recruitment, Human Resources, Safety, Quality, IT, Finance, Fleet, Supply Chain.
  • Works closely with the Director of Business Development/Marketing and the team to develop and execute the annual marketing calendar of campaigns, initiatives, events, sponsorships, and programs.
  • Implement process improvements and areas for efficiency and accuracy of claims across projects.
  • Partnering with internal and external key stakeholders for coordinating, planning, implementing and assessing brand strategies.
  • Lead and manage the integrated content strategy development as approved across paid, earned, and owned (website, blog, social) channels, providing best practice guidance to the greater marketing and cross-functional teams on our digital products in collaboration with the team.
  • Ensure organizational goals, strategies, and priorities are integrated in strategic communications initiatives to develop and deliver content to the right B2B and B2C audiences in the right channels at the right time.
  • Monitor, Measure and assess content performance and to accelerate content ideation and testing to reach key customer segments and drive brand awareness.
  • Other allocated tasks as required.

Does this sound like you?

  • Proven record of success in traditional and non-traditional marketing with measurable results.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Knowledge of brand planning, budgeting, business analysis, advertising, promotions merchandising, digital, social, research, and analysis.
  • Strong critical thinking and solution based problem solving skills.
  • Able to prioritize multiple workstreams, managing shifting deliverables and tight timelines.
  • Superior computer skills, especially Adobe CS, Canva and MS Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Experience in project management – planning and execution of campaigns and other projects.
